This album, like the rest of Miz Badu’s repertoire, oozes staying power. It’s frenetic, refl exive, funny («that’s not science») and an inspiration to anyone who messes around with Garage Band. Not bad for an analog girl in a digital world. Let’s hope J Electronica doesn’t keep distracting her from the subsequent releases. (ALM)
