The artist formerly known as Nick Diamonds takes a break from working on his comic strip This is Howie Doo and from his duties as Islands leader to list some lists.

With their latest release, Vapours (out September 22nd), Islands once again explore inevitably obscure references over catchy guitar riffs and dark, heavy synths that mix Thorburn’s signature nasal crooning with the occasional male siren choir, police car siren and gangster clap. Their third effort also marks the return of drummer and band co-founder Jamie Thompson. Given carte blanche, Nick Thorburn, the jokester frontman and face paint aficionado, rounds up a top 5 list of… his favourite lists.
