She talks fast, but only because she can’t get the ideas out fast enough. “J’ai cette tendance à passer du coq à l’âne en cinquième vitesse, en plus d’être naturellement portée à l’absurdité et à l’utilisation du style métaphorique.” / Ultra Vox: new wave for the urban extra-terrestrial? What do people dance to on Jupiter?
Rock, country, funk, punk, surf, new wave, no wave and Giorgio Moroder are all in a night’s work. “Les gens viennent pour s’amuser, danser au son de musiques à tendance underground, alternant des classiques et des chansons moins connues ou saugrenues entrecoupées de mégahits. What’s life like on the other side of the bar now that you’re a bad-ass promoter?
“I’m totally new to this and I’m not used to the responsibility! I know bars, clubs and after-hours intimately, and I’m surrounded by friends who are part of that world. Suddenly, I’m on the other side of the fence. Now it’s about working day and night so that it goes off every time. I’m doing the best I can, and now it’s finally coming together. C’est ludique, magique et fun fun!” [
